Youth on the Edge... of Greatness

Mission

Youth on the Edge... of Greatness seeks to empower middle school youth to reach their full potential by enhancing their academic achievement, preventing their involvement with alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, and encouraging parents to play an active role in their child's school life.

Vision

Youth on the Edge... of Greatness envisions an Eastside Detroit community in which youth possess strong self esteem and can make positive decisions about their future, access information and resources that enhance their development and contribute positively to their community.

Philosophy

We, as a community, are responsible for the future of our youth. To act on this philosophy holistically, we will work to develop and support middle school-aged youth through the four E's: Education, Esteem, Empowerment, and Exposure.
